Privacy policy

1. Who we are

DLM Digital operates TableTalksEU from Den Haag, the Netherlands. Our KVK and BTW numbers appear on every invoice we issue. Dutch law governs this policy and any processing of your data.

2. What we collect when you join the waitlist

The website is currently a pre-launch waitlist. When you sign up we collect only what the form asks for:

• Your email address, so we can tell you when we launch.
• Whether you signed up as a creator or a restaurant.
• Optionally your name and city.
• If you are a creator, optionally your Instagram handle.
• If you are a restaurant, your restaurant name.
• The language you used, so we email you in Dutch or English.

We store this in a database hosted inside the European Union. We do not collect payment details, phone numbers or tracking data through the waitlist.

3. What we will collect once the platform launches

When the full platform opens, and only if you create an account, we will also process:

• Phone numbers, used solely to deliver vouchers and to prevent fraud.
• Email, for your account and payouts.
• Your name and Instagram handle for your public profile.
• Venue address, for restaurant accounts.
• IP address, for security.

4. Why we are allowed to use it

For the waitlist, we rely on your consent to email you about the launch. For platform accounts, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in preventing fraud. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.

5. Who can see your data

We never sell your data. We share it only with the processors we need to run the service:

• Our database and hosting provider, inside the EU.
• Our email provider, to send you launch and account emails.
• At launch, Mollie for payments and a WhatsApp Business API provider for voucher delivery.

On the live platform, restaurants can see creator names and Instagram handles to select their tastings, and creators can see the first name only of guests who redeem their vouchers.

6. How long we keep it

Waitlist data is kept until we launch in your city and for a short period after, or until you ask us to delete it or unsubscribe, whichever comes first. Platform account data is deleted on account closure plus 30 days of grace. Transaction records are kept for 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or hand it to another service. Email privacy@tabletalkseu.com and we will respond within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

8. Cookies

We use only essential storage for security and to remember your choices. We set no tracking or advertising cookies without your consent. See our cookie statement for detail.
